Last Saturday (May 9) my Mom and I had our very first Stampin' Up Workshop! I can't wait to get my eyelet border punch.

This is my favourite card project that we did! White embossing powder, glitter ribbon, scallop punches and corner tag punch all used.

In other news.... I've had my eye on the Cuttlekids die cutter at Michaels. They had it on sale in the clearance section for $25 and I googled (thank blackberry) if other dies would work with it. Yahoo Answers claims yes. They're right.... just not totally accurate. i had to find thinner cutting mats (Sizzix ones to be exact) but now the dies i bought the same day are (thankfully) functional. Steff's been having some fun with them. Also, I've entered into the realm of embossing via toaster oven. I love embossing and have procured some metallic and clear. I think my next acquisition will be black. Stay tuned! in the meantime, here are my newest cards. I think i kind of went overboard in April so the craftiness has somehwat gone into recession like the economy.

Frenchy die cuts. the chipboard sticker is from michaels.

Lovey Die cuts,scattered hearts.

This one is a request from a co-worker. Ladybugs! luckily i had some stickers.

Same die cut hearts as above, with a sticker and some layered ivory cardstock and stamping.

This one is a mix of fuschia/magenta, sepia brown and eggplantish purple inks, daubed on white cardstock after embossing the butterfly in silver.
